Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pretty PDF Printer ("the Service"), operated by D-NIS, napredne informacijske storitve, Denis Avguštin, s.p. ("we", "us", "our"), including our website at prettypdfprinter.com, the Chrome extension, and the API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Pretty PDF Printer is a web-to-PDF conversion service. It provides a Chrome browser extension, a web interface, and a REST API that allow users to generate professionally formatted PDF documents from web pages. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers with varying feature sets and usage limits.

Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the fees associated with your chosen plan
• Automatic renewal at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Paddle's terms of service for payment processing

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate PDFs from content you do not have the right to access or reproduce
• Circumvent paywalls, access restrictions, or authentication requirements on third-party websites
• Distribute copyrighted material without authorization
• Send automated requests that exceed your plan's rate limits or that could overload our infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

API usage

Access to the Pretty PDF API is available on Pro+ plans and above, subject to the rate limits of your plan. You agree to:

• Keep your API key confidential and not share it publicly
• Respect the rate limits associated with your plan
• Not use the API in a way that could degrade the Service for other users

We reserve the right to revoke API access if these terms are violated.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is owned by Pretty PDF Printer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

You retain full ownership of the content you submit and the PDFs you generate. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content or generated documents.

Content responsibility

You are solely responsible for the web content you submit for PDF generation. We do not review, monitor, or endorse the content processed through our Service. We are not liable for any content you generate PDFs from.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pretty PDF Printer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will produce perfect PDF conversions for every webpage, as website structures and content vary widely.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Your stored PDFs will be deleted within 30 days
• Any prepaid fees for the current billing period are subject to our Refund Policy

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, binding arbitration.
